Dive Center Krk - Istria Peninsula
The team at Dive Center Krk are our kind of people. They run a tight ship from their base right on the water, ideal for those who want to roll out of bed and onto a boat. We’d recommend them particularly for divers looking to get serious about their skills, offering everything from Open Water up to Divemaster, plus Nitrox. What we really love about Krk, and specifically this centre, is the variety. One day you’re exploring the hold of a freighter, the next you’re finning through a sun-dappled cave, the light playing tricks on the rock formations. Their house reef is surprisingly good for a quick dip too, a convenient spot to get your weighting dialled in or just enjoy some quiet time with the blennies and small octopus. We found the atmosphere relaxed but professional, exactly what you need when you’re entrusting your dive holiday to someone. Just be aware that like much of the Adriatic, summer can bring crowds, so consider shoulder seasons for a quieter experience.
