Why dive here
With 46+ marine species recorded in the area - including dolphins, sea turtles and cuttlefish - Frizital offers some of Istria Peninsula's richest diving. Water ranges 12-26°C, warmest July, August, September.
Frizital, off the Istrian coast, is a straightforward dive, often used for training or a relaxed afternoon. You’ll typically find a gently sloping reef, with a few small boulders offering cover for crabs and blennies. It’s a good spot for newer divers to practice buoyancy, or for experienced divers to enjoy a quiet, undemanding swim. Visibility here is usually decent, but don't expect dramatic topography or pelagics.
