Kleine Steilwand - Istria Peninsula

Kleine Steilwand is a solid little wall dive, perfect for getting comfortable with the unique feel of Mediterranean diving in Istria. At a max depth of 13m, it’s an easy run for beginners or those brushing up their skills. You’ll find sponges and small gorgonians clinging to the rock face, with plenty of nooks and crannies to peer into for blennies and small crabs. It might not blow your mind with massive pelagics, but it's a calm, enjoyable dive, a nice introduction to the local underwater scene. We’d suggest it for an afternoon dip when you’re looking for something relaxed after a morning of sightseeing.
