Liafels, Millstätter See - Istria Peninsula
Liafels, on Istria's coast, is a solid intermediate dive. Dropping to a max of 24 meters, it’s a good spot for some relaxed exploration rather than a frantic hunt for big pelagics. We’ve found a nice wall that offers plenty of nooks and crannies to peer into, often revealing smaller blennies, gobies, and the occasional octopus tucked away. Visibility here can vary, but on a good day, it's clear enough to appreciate the gentle undulations of the sea grass and the quiet life within it. It’s a good choice for divers looking for a calm, easy dive with a chance to practice buoyancy and enjoy the quieter side of the Adriatic.
