Mali Lošinj Cikat Bay - Istria Peninsula
Cikat Bay, just outside Mali Lošinj, is a lovely introduction to Adriatic diving. It’s a shallow reef, topping out at 14 metres, which makes it perfect for those getting comfortable in the water or for a relaxed second dive. We’ve found plenty of small stuff here: little blennies peering out from crevices, crabs scuttling over the rocks, and schools of juvenile fish darting amongst the sparse corals. Visibility is generally good, especially in the mornings before boat traffic picks up. It’s a gentle, unassuming dive, and we often recommend it as a solid spot for beginners to build confidence.
