NIVIA - Istria Peninsula

The NIVIA, a bulk carrier that went down in heavy weather back in '95, now rests upright on the seabed at 31 metres, making it a solid pick for advanced open water divers. At 71.9 metres long, there's plenty to explore along the deck and around the superstructure. We've seen schools of damselfish flitting through the holds and plenty of scorpionfish tucked away in the shadows. It’s a proper wreck dive, with a bit of history to it, especially considering the crew's dramatic rescue.
