Why dive here
With 43+ marine species recorded in the area - including sea turtles - Church Bay offers some of Paphos & Coral Bay's richest reef diving. Water sits around 18°C.
Church Bay is a decent shallow shore dive, particularly good for a relaxed afternoon. The reef here, a mix of rock and some emerging corals, drops gently, making it quite accessible. We’ve spotted plenty of the usual Mediterranean suspects – wrasse, damselfish, and occasionally a lone trumpetfish drifting by. Keep an eye out for Savigny's Brittle Star tucked into crevices; they're surprisingly common here. It’s a solid choice for newer divers or anyone looking to log some easy bottom time without a boat trip.
