Marine Divers - Paphos & Coral Bay
The team at Marine Divers are a genuinely friendly bunch, run by a British family, and they’ve been in the Paphos area since 2003. We love their straightforward approach, especially if you’re diving with family or newer divers. They really shine when it comes to getting people comfortable underwater, whether that’s a first-timer Discover Scuba Dive or taking your PADI Open Water. Our favourite thing is how they make the local sites feel fresh. Take White River, for example – a lot of centres go there, but Marine Divers are great at pointing out the subtle things: the tiny blennies in the rocks, the way the light filters through the shallows in the morning. We’d suggest booking an early start if you can, to get ahead of any crowds and enjoy that calmer morning light. They’re also keen on getting you to the *Vera K* wreck, which, while not a deep dive, has some lovely swim-throughs and often schools of damselfish swirling around. They’re honest about the conditions, too; if there’s a bit of surge on a given day, they’ll tell you straight up and suggest the best alternative. It feels like diving with mates who really know the local patch.
