Gudelacksee - Bornholm

Nan Yong Snorkeling Center isn’t just for snorkelers, not really. It’s where we often take our first breath of Kenting’s underwater world each trip. The entry is simple, straight off the beach, and the immediate shallows are full of surprises. Look for the small, rocky patches – we've found clouds of juvenile bream there, swirling like liquid silver. Move a little further out and the reef starts to develop, a mix of stony corals and anemones. We always keep an eye out for the yellowstriped cardinalfish, their reflective scales flashing as they dart into crevices. You'll definitely spot plenty of parrotfish here, the blue and Japanese varieties crunching away at the coral. It’s a gentle introduction, perfect for warming up your dive muscles or for those days when you just want a relaxed dip. Visibility can vary, but even on an average day, the sheer density of small fish makes it worthwhile.
