KYHOLM - Bornholm

Kyholm is a real favourite of ours, especially if you’re into your history and a bit of a challenge. Dropping down to 48 metres, this isn't one for your first deep dive, but for experienced wreckies, it's a beauty. It's an old fishing vessel, nothing too dangerous, but the years she's spent on the seabed have given her a proper character. What we love about Kyholm is how the sea has truly reclaimed her. The deck is often covered in fishing nets, ghosting over the rusted metal, and it’s become a home for all sorts of local critters. We’ve seen conger eels poking their heads out of hatches, and cod often school around the superstructure, shimmering in the gloom. It’s a dive that really makes you feel the weight of time, seeing the old ship slowly dissolving back into the ocean, providing shelter as she goes. Try to catch it on a calmer day, visibility can swing quite a bit here, but when it's good, you can really make out the details of the hull.
