TICO-TICA - Bornholm

Tico-Tica isn't your typical wreck dive, and that's precisely why we love it. Sunk in 1948, this old fishing boat sits in just one metre of water, making it perfect for snorkelers or even just a good long look from the surface on a calm day. The water here in Bornholm is often incredibly clear, letting you pick out details on the hull, which is now completely encrusted with mussels and barnacles. You'll see tiny blennies darting in and out of the cracks, and schools of juvenile fish flitting around the mast. Our favourite thing to do is spend an hour just floating above it, watching how the light plays on the structure and observing the slow, quiet life that’s made it home. It’s a tranquil, almost meditative experience, and proof you don't need depth for a captivating dive.
