TINA JACK - Bornholm

We love a wreck that still feels like a ship, and the Tina Jack delivers. This merchant vessel, resting upright at 18 meters, went down in 1966 and is remarkably intact for a Bornholm wreck. Descending onto her deck, you can still make out the superstructure, the mast reaching up, and even some deck fittings. It’s not just a pile of metal; she has real character. Our favourite part is the penetration into the holds, which are surprisingly open and easy to navigate for certified wreck divers. Sunlight shafts through the hatches, illuminating the dense schools of small fish that dart between the frames. Keep an eye out for the big cod and conger eels that have made homes in the deeper sections of the engine room. Visibility here can vary, but on a good day, the sense of exploring a time capsule is palpable. This one’s perfect for divers who appreciate history and don't mind a bit of a chill; a drysuit is definitely our recommendation.
