TVA BRODER (HG 108) - Bornholm

The TVA Broder, a fishing vessel that went down in '77 after a collision, is a classic Bornholm wreck dive. It sits upright in about 25 metres, quite intact for its age. We love how the wheelhouse is still largely there, letting you peek inside and imagine the scramble during the sinking. It’s not a huge wreck, but there’s plenty to explore, especially the hold where we often find big cod lurking in the shadows. Visibility here can vary, but on a good day, when the sun penetrates the Baltic green, the wreck really comes alive with a surprising amount of life – blennies in the nooks, crabs scuttling over the decking, and those inquisitive cod. It’s a dive that rewards careful observation and slow exploration, perfect for divers who appreciate a bit of maritime history and don't mind the chill of the Baltic. We always suggest bringing a good torch; it really brings out the detail in the superstructure.
