WLA-14 - Bornholm

WLA-14 is our kind of wreck. Not just some scattered remains, but a proper, intact vessel sitting upright at 21 metres. We love the way she’s settled into the seabed, a silent sentinel in the cool Baltic waters. Exploring her feels like stepping back in time, tracing the outline of her deck, peering into the holds where light filters down, revealing the shadowy shapes within. You’ll want to bring a good torch, not just for penetration, but to really appreciate the textures. The metal hull is encrusted with a mosaic of mussels and anemones, providing shelter for gobies and blennies. We'd suggest focusing on the bow and stern sections; they're particularly photogenic and often host the most interesting resident fish. Visibility can vary, but on a good day, the WLA-14 offers a wonderfully atmospheric dive, a real sense of discovery for anyone who appreciates a well-preserved piece of maritime history. She’s not a site for spotting megafauna, but for the quiet beauty of a sunken ship becoming part of the reef, she’s a standout.
