    The Cathedral dive site on Crete offers a true cave diving experience. We're talking about exploring substantial chambers and tunnels, rather than just an overhang, so it's best suited for experienced divers comfortable in overhead environments. Inside, the light plays off the walls, revealing some intriguing rock formations and, if you're lucky, the occasional Mediterranean slipper lobster tucked into a crevice. This spot is definitely one for the logbook if you appreciate geological wonders.
