Nemo Scuba Diving Resort - Halkidiki
The team at Nemo Scuba Diving Resort in Halkidiki really understands the rhythm of Greek diving. They’re a PADI 5 Star IDC Resort, which tells you they’re serious about training, but what we love is their focus on the local environment. You won't find flashy boasts here, just solid, enjoyable diving. We think they’re perfect if you’re looking to get certified, especially if you appreciate a dive centre that feels more like a local club than a big operation. Dive with them and you’ll explore the Aegean’s quieter side. We’ve had some fantastic dives around the Kassandra peninsula, often spotting octopus darting between rocks and the occasional moray eel peeking from a crevice. The visibility in summer is generally excellent, often pushing past 20 metres, giving that classic Mediterranean blue-on-blue feel. Our favourite dives were typically morning trips before the heat really set in, often finding ourselves alone on a site. They know the lesser-dived spots, steering clear of anything too crowded. It’s not about huge pelagics here, it’s about slow, relaxed exploration, finding nudibranchs on the sponges, and watching schools of damselfish hover over the reefs. If you’re into macro or just want to enjoy easy diving, Nemo delivers.
