Why dive here
Kalamitsi is a dive where divers can encounter dolphins. Water ranges 14-27°C, warmest July, August, September.
Kalamitsi offers a straightforward Mediterranean dive, good for getting your fins wet or for a relaxed second dive. You'll likely encounter smaller reef fish, maybe an octopus tucked into the rocks, and various nudibranchs if you look closely. It's a nice easy option for newer divers or those who prefer a less strenuous experience. We find it pleasant enough, but don't expect dramatic topography or pelagic encounters here.
