They’re a PADI 5 Star IDC Resort, which means serious instruction is on offer, but frankly, we love them for their local knowledge and their knack for finding the sweet spots. We've spent enough time diving the Ligurian coast to know that current and boat traffic can be a real factor, and these guys manage it expertly. They’ll get you out to the Cristo degli Abissi, of course, but what we really love is when they nudge you towards some of the quieter spots – maybe a wall dive where you can really slow down and look for nudibranchs, or a pinnacle crawling with lobsters. We’ve had mornings where the light filtering through the kelp felt almost spiritual, and their guides just let you soak it in. They’re excellent with both seasoned divers looking for a good time and those newer to the sport; they just adapt. If you’re in Portofino and want to experience the underwater beauty without any fuss, Salto Nel Blu is a solid bet.
