DIVE&DIVE Centro de Buceo - Balearic Islands

You know, the Balearics get a rap for party towns and crowded beaches, but drop below the surface with DIVE&DIVE Centro de Buceo, and you find a different story entirely. We love this site for its surprising blend of classic Mediterranean reef life and some genuinely interesting finds. You’ll be finning over rocky slopes and through small canyons, the light playing tricks as it filters down. Keep an eye out for hake lurking in the shadows and squadrons of saddled seabream darting past. Our favourite time to dive here is early morning; the water often has a glassy calm, and you might catch common squid changing colours in the shallows. We've often spotted ornate wrasse, their blues and oranges vivid against the rock. Look closely in crevices for red snapping shrimp, and if you’re lucky, a moray eel peering out. It’s a great spot for divers who enjoy a relaxed pace and appreciate the subtle beauty of temperate reefs, rather than a blast of tropical colour.
