Scuba Moraira - Balearic Islands
If you're looking for a low-key, genuinely welcoming outfit on the Costa Blanca, Scuba Moraira is it. The team here just gets it. They’re old-school in the best possible way, focusing on good diving and good company. We’d send anyone here, especially those looking for a solid foundation in SSI training or just wanting to enjoy some relaxed boat dives without the usual holiday resort hustle. We love that they’ve been around the block, one of the oldest centres here. That experience really shows, particularly in how they manage their daily boat trips. They run to over 25 sites, which means you’re not hitting the same spot day in, day out. We've had some cracking dives with them, from the shallow, sun-drenched reefs humming with damselfish to deeper walls where you might spot an elusive John Dory. Their cavern dives are a real highlight too. Slipping into the cool, dark embrace of a cavern, seeing your torch beam pick out ancient rock formations – it’s a different kind of dive entirely. Just remember, they don't do equipment rental, so bring your own kit.
