Formentor Island sits just off the dramatic northern coast of Mallorca, a quick boat ride from Port de Pollença. We usually find decent visibility here, around 15-20 meters on a good day, with gentle currents most of the time. The site is mostly rocky, with plenty of small caves and swim-throughs to explore, home to moray eels and the occasional octopus tucked into crevices. It’s a solid pick for divers looking for a relaxed multi-level profile, suitable for those with Open Water certification and above.
