Cruentats Cave

Why dive here
With 76+ marine species recorded in the area - including dolphins, octopuses, sea turtles, sperm whales and cuttlefish - Cruentats Cave offers some of Canary Islands's richest cave diving. Water ranges 20-24°C, warmest August, September, October.
Cruentats Cave, tucked away in the Canary Islands, offers a decent intro to cave diving without being overly demanding. It's a shallower cave, topping out at 18 meters, which makes it approachable for intermediate divers looking to get comfortable under a solid ceiling. Inside, the play of light can be quite nice, particularly on a sunny day, revealing a surprising amount of invertebrate life clinging to the walls. We've seen crabs scuttling and shrimp darting in the crevices. It’s a good spot to practice buoyancy and finning in an overhead environment, and a nice change of pace from the typical reef dives in the area.
