The team at L'atelier de la mer are, in a word, meticulous. We’ve always appreciated a dive shop that gets the small things right, and they truly shine. Forget the usual rushed briefings; here, they take their time. You get a real sense of preparation before you even hit the water, which is particularly reassuring if you’re doing a Baptême de plongée with them. They're excellent for newer divers or those who appreciate a slower pace and detailed attention. What we really love is their dedication to good gear. Their rental kit always feels well-maintained, not like it’s been dragged through a thousand dives. That matters when you’re entrusting your safety to it. We'd suggest getting there a little early before your dive to chat with the crew. They’re full of local knowledge about current conditions around the Medes Islands and often point out specific things to look for at the dive sites that day, like where the schools of barracuda might be hanging out or if a particular nudibranch has been spotted. It’s those little insights that elevate a good dive to a great one.
