Exsurgence de Port-Miou feels less like a dive site and more like stepping into a secret, geological whisper. The entrance itself is a thrill, a narrow slit in the rock that opens into a dark, echoing chamber. We love the feeling of the freshwater mixing with the salt, creating a visible thermocline that shimmers like heat haze underwater. It’s an unusual sensation, both visually and physically, and something you really only get in these types of coastal caves. Keep your eyes peeled for the subtle life that thrives in the low light – those Bushy Corals are particularly striking against the rock. We've often seen conger eels tucked into crevices, and sometimes even the odd dogfish hanging out near the mouth.
