Les Brisés - Medes Islands

Les Brisés holds a special place in our logbooks. It's a Medes Islands classic, and honestly, we think it often gets overlooked for some of its flashier neighbours. Drop down here and you’ll find yourself in a maze of swim-throughs and overhangs. The light filtering through the cracks is pure magic, painting the rock walls in shifting blues and greens. What we love about Les Brisés is the atmosphere. It feels ancient, a real cave diver’s playground without the serious overhead environment. Keep an eye out for the resident cowfish – they’re surprisingly bold here. We’ve also had fantastic luck spotting moonfish cruising the deeper sections. Our favourite tip for this site: head in early to beat any boat traffic, the peace really amplifies the experience. It’s a site that rewards careful exploration, perfect for divers who appreciate the subtle beauty of Mediterranean topography.
