Tombant des Deux Frères - Medes Islands

Tombant des Deux Frères, or "The Wall of Two Brothers," feels like a proper Medes Islands dive. It’s got that signature Mediterranean drama we love. We'd suggest getting here early; it gets busy, but the fish don't seem to mind. You drop down onto a steep wall that just keeps going. The visibility here can be superb, letting you see the wall’s contours stretching into the blue. It’s the sheer density of fish that really makes it a standout. Schools of blotched picarel and horse mackerel stream past, sometimes so thick they make the light ripple. Keep an eye on the deeper sections for razorbacks darting about the sandy patches below the wall. We've seen garfish cruising the top of the reef, and the wrasse and scorpionfish are always tucked into the crevices. Don't be surprised if a white seabream or two come right up to check you out. It’s a site that rewards a slow drift, letting the currents carry you along the face, looking into every nook. Definitely one for divers who appreciate a lively reef.
