Björkviks brygga - Baltic Coast
Björkviks brygga, on Sweden's Baltic Coast, offers a different kind of dive. Think less vibrant coral, more cool water exploration. We found bladder wrack swaying gently, creating miniature forests where pike lurked, camouflaged and still. It’s a good spot for a relaxed shallow dive, probably not a place for big pelagic hunters, but ideal if you’re keen on macro life or just enjoy the peaceful calm of a freshwater-ish environment. Keep an eye out for the tiny New Zealand mudsnails and clusters of blue mussels clinging to the rocks.
