Seawolf Sukelluskeskus Oy - Baltic Coast
The team at Seawolf Sukelluskeskus Oy know Baltic diving like the back of their hand, and that’s exactly why we’d send you their way. This isn't your typical tropical dive shop; it’s a dedicated crew passionate about exploring the unique wrecks and chillier waters of the Finnish coast. If you’re into the historical side of diving, or just curious about what lies beneath the often-overlooked Baltic Sea, Seawolf is our pick. They really shine when it comes to guiding you through the local wreck sites. The visibility can be variable, sometimes a glorious 15 metres, other days a bit more challenging, but the thrill of descending onto a century-old steamer is always there. We love the feeling of the cold, dense water enveloping you as you drop down, the light fading to an atmospheric twilight. Our favourite kind of dive with Seawolf is an early morning boat trip out to one of the deeper wrecks, before the wind picks up. It’s quiet, just the sound of the boat on the water, and then that distinct splash as you enter. They’re PADI certified, so you know you’re in good hands for courses, but we think their real expertise lies in their local knowledge and guiding. Be sure to layer up – even in summer, a drysuit is usually the way to go here.
