ARAB - Cornwall & Devon
The ARAB wreck, sitting at a shallow 7 metres off the Cornwall and Devon coast, is a good pick for a relaxed dive. We’re talking about a sailing vessel that met its end in thick fog way back in 1888, and time has certainly done its work. What’s left is scattered wreckage across a rocky seabed, with sections of hull plates and ribs creating little hideouts. You’ll find plenty of crabs tucked into crevices and small schools of wrasse darting between the metal. It’s not about grand structures here; it's more of a treasure hunt, tracing the outlines of history. Ideal for newer divers or those looking for a gentle second dive.
