DiveUK - Cornwall & Devon

The team at DiveUK have built a real community, something we always appreciate in a dive centre. They’re PADI 5 Star, which means solid training, but it’s their focus on youth training that really sets them apart. If you’re looking to get your kids into diving, or if you’re a newer diver yourself and want a supportive, friendly environment to build your skills, DiveUK is an excellent choice. What we really love about diving with them is their local knowledge. They run trips to some fantastic wreck sites off the Cornish coast – think old fishing trawlers and cargo ships, often encrusted with jewel anemones and home to conger eels. We’ve had some truly memorable dives exploring the boiler rooms of these wrecks, the light filtering in through portholes, sometimes a gentle surge rocking you back and forth. Visibility can be a mixed bag, as it often is in UK waters, but on a good day, when the sun is out and the sea is calm, it’s genuinely atmospheric. We'd suggest checking their calendar for trips out to the Eddystone Reef for a chance to spot grey seals, especially in autumn. They're curious creatures and a joy to watch.
