BRAEDALE (PROBABLY) - Cornwall & Devon
Diving the Braedale is a proper Cornish wreck experience. You'll drop onto a scattered steamship, about 43 metres long, broken up by the heavy weather that claimed her back in 1924. We've found the stern section often still holds a good amount of structure to explore, with plates and ribs giving shelter to snaking conger eels and schools of bib. It’s a site for those who appreciate the history beneath the waves and the way the sea reclaims its own, best dived on a slack tide for a calmer explore.
