BRANDON - Cornwall & Devon
The Brandon, a trawler that sank at its mooring, now rests in just 5m of water. It’s a brilliant introduction to wreck diving, particularly if you’re still getting comfortable with buoyancy. The wreck itself isn't huge, around 21 metres long, but she’s colonised by life. Look for the usual suspects – crabs scuttling in crevices, flatfish tucked into the sand, and small shoals of pollack hanging above the superstructure. It’s a fairly easy dive, often with decent visibility, making it a good choice for newer divers or those looking for a relaxed second dive.
