EMPIRE HARRY - Cornwall & Devon
The Empire Harry, a tug that went ashore in a gale back in '45, now rests in the shallows off the Cornwall coast. You'll find her in just a metre of water, which makes this more of a snorkel and free-dive spot, really. We've seen her upper works still showing, a testament to her robust build. It's a fascinating look at history, especially for those interested in maritime heritage rather than deep dives. Around the exposed metal, we usually spot plenty of crabs scuttling and small fish darting in and out, making it an accessible peek into the local intertidal zone.
