Hallsands - Cornwall & Devon
Hallsands, just off the coast of Cornwall, makes for a really pleasant, easy dive. At a maximum depth of 6 metres, it’s a brilliant spot for newer divers getting comfortable with their buoyancy or for some relaxed photography. We’ve found plenty of flatfish camouflaged on the sandy bottom here, along with spider crabs scuttling amongst the rocks. Keep an eye out for blennies popping their heads out of crevices. It’s a gentle introduction to shore diving in the UK, often with surprisingly good visibility on a calm day.
