    StandoutExceptional marine biodiversity

The HMS Rinovia is a proper technical dive, and we absolutely love it for that. Dropping onto her at 55m, she’s largely intact and upright, resting on a sandy seabed. You’ll feel that shift from the murky blue into the visibility around the wreck, a real sense of arrival. The bow is a great place to start, often adorned with plumose anemones, their white tentacles waving gently in the faint current. We always make a point of checking the wheelhouse, it’s a tight squeeze in places but a rewarding penetration for suitably trained divers, with glimpses of old fittings still clinging on. Look for the resident conger eels tucked away in every available crevice; they’re enormous down there. This isn’t a dive for the faint of heart or the inexperienced; the Rinovia demands respect and good gas planning, but for those with the skills, it delivers a deeply satisfying exploration of a piece of wartime history.
