JUNO - Cornwall & Devon
The JUNO wreck, sitting shallow at just 2 metres, offers a different kind of dive experience off the Cornish coast. This military vessel, lost in 1786, is now mostly broken up, but you can still pick out pieces of timber and the general outline of the ship. It’s not about grand structures here, more about exploring history that’s become one with the seabed. We often see crabs scuttling amongst the remains and small fish darting between the timbers, making it a surprisingly lively spot for a super-shallow dive. It’s a great choice for divers who enjoy poking around historical fragments and observing the smaller marine life that calls these older sites home.
