LIA'G - Cornwall & Devon
The Lia’g, a fishing vessel that went down in '93, lies upright on the seabed at 36 metres. She’s not a huge wreck, only 15 metres long, but what she lacks in size she makes up for in atmosphere. We’ve found her an easy dive, settled into the sand, and she provides some good sheltered nooks and crannies to peer into. Expect to see plenty of local fish life sheltering here – pollack, wrasse, sometimes conger eels tucked right away. It’s a solid dive for those who enjoy poking around smaller wrecks without excessive current.
