Why dive here
With 176+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, dolphins, dwarf minke whales, humpback whales and ocean sunfish (mola mola) - Little Trolvis offers some of Cornwall & Devon's richest diving. Water ranges 10-18°C, warmest July, August, September.
Little Trolvis is a gentle introduction to Cornish diving. At a shallow 11 meters, it’s a perfect spot for newer divers getting comfortable with the cooler water and a bit of kelp. You’ll find plenty of crabs tucked into crevices and various small wrasse darting between the rocks. It’s not a site for big pelagics, but for a relaxed afternoon dip and some macro observation, we think it’s a solid choice.
