NW96 - Cornwall & Devon

The Shingles Bank Wreck, NW96, sits in a shallow six metres off the Cornwall and Devon coast. It's a wooden wreck, relatively new to the dive charts, discovered by Martin in 2019. We've found the timbers are slowly becoming home to local wrasse and crabs, with sea anemones starting to pepper the decaying wood. It’s a good spot for newer divers looking for their first wreck, or photographers wanting to capture the subtle beauty of a wreck in its early stages of marine integration, without the pressure of depth or strong currents. Just keep an eye on the local tides, as visibility can shift quickly here.
