StandoutExceptional marine biodiversity

Orestone Rock sits just off the coast, a solid granite outcrop providing a good foundation for various anemones and sponges. You’ll find crabs and lobsters tucked into the crevices, along with wrasse patrolling the weed-covered rock. It’s a straightforward shore dive, well-suited for those looking for an easy entry and a chance to explore a typical UK rocky reef. We find it’s best when the sea is calm, otherwise surge can make it a bit bouncy.
