SAIMA - Cornwall & Devon
The SAIMA sits in 53 meters, a sobering reminder of wartime shipping off the Cornish coast. Torpedoed in 1918, she went down fast, and you can almost feel that urgency when you descend onto her. Expect to find a substantial wreck, surprisingly intact given the circumstances, with holds that invite exploration if you're comfortable with deep penetration. It’s an advanced dive, for sure, best suited for technical divers comfortable with depths and potentially reduced visibility. Keep an eye out for conger eels in the darker recesses and the usual rockfish and anemones clinging to the plates.
