SANTORINI - Cornwall & Devon
The Santorini is a relatively recent addition to the Cornish dive scene, a 12-metre open vessel that went down in 2007. Sitting in a shallow 4 metres, it’s not going to test your depth gauges, but it’s a brilliant spot for newer divers, or those looking for a longer, relaxed dive. We’ve found it’s become a real little haven for crabs and juvenile fish, tucked in amongst the ribs and framework. Visibility here can be pretty good on a calm day, letting you really pick out the details of the wreck, and makes for some easy navigation. It’s an easy entry and exit, often sheltered, making it a reliable pick when the weather's a bit iffy elsewhere.
