The coaster *Shane’s Castle* sits upright at 57 metres, a deep dive but a rewarding one for technical divers exploring Cornwall's wrecks. The stern is often the most intact section, with the rudder and propeller still in place, drawing a surprising amount of invertebrate life. Visibility here can be a bit of a lottery, as with most UK waters, but on a good day, the superstructure offers plenty to explore, with schools of pouting often schooling around the holds. We’d suggest checking the tides carefully; currents can be brisk.
