SIR JASPER - Cornwall & Devon
Dropping onto the Sir Jasper, you'll find the remains of a yacht that capsized in a race back in '81. It’s a shallower wreck, sitting at 13 metres, making it a good option for those newer to wreck diving or looking for a longer bottom time. The hull is still pretty intact, offering some interesting swim-throughs where you can poke around for crabs tucked into crevices. Keep an eye out for dogfish resting on the sand nearby, and the usual colourful anemones clinging to the metal. It’s not the most dramatic wreck in Cornwall, but it’s a friendly dive with enough character to warrant a visit if you're in the area.
