With 176+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, dolphins, dwarf minke whales, humpback whales and ocean sunfish (mola mola) - SNOWDROP offers some of Cornwall & Devon's richest wreck diving. Water ranges 10-18°C, warmest July, August, September.
The Snowdrop, a small fishing vessel that went down in 1995, sits upright at 27 metres off the coast of Cornwall. At just over 6 metres long, she’s a compact wreck, but one that’s been well-colonised by the local sea life. We’ve found plenty of small lobsters tucked into the nooks and crannies, and often a decent number of wrasse darting around the superstructure. It’s a good little dive if you’re looking for a relaxed wreck exploration that won’t demand too much bottom time, perfect for a second dive of the day or if you're keen on macro life.
