Solstice PH199 - Cornwall & Devon
The Solstice PH199 is a relatively new wreck, going down in 2017. Lying upright at 22 metres, this fishing vessel is still largely intact, which always makes for a more interesting exploration. You can fin around the wheelhouse, check out the stern, and even poke your head into the hold if you’re comfortable with some light penetration. Even in just a few years, it’s become a home for lobsters and crabs, and we’ve seen schools of pollack hanging out in the superstructure. It’s a great dive for anyone comfortable with temperate water and who enjoys seeing how quickly the ocean reclaims its own.
