Swanpool Beach - Cornwall & Devon
Swanpool Beach is a gentle introduction to shore diving, perfect for knocking the rust off your skills or for new divers getting comfortable in open water. The maximum depth of 5m means you get plenty of bottom time, and the calm, sheltered bay is often quite forgiving. You'll likely spot crabs scuttling over the rocky patches and flatfish camouflaged on the sand, plus schools of juvenile pollack darting amongst the kelp. It’s a great spot to practice buoyancy and navigation without the pressure of strong currents or deep water.
