TARDIS OF YEALM - Cornwall & Devon
The TARDIS OF YEALM, a fishing vessel that went down in 2001, sits upright on the seabed near the mouth of the Yealm estuary. It's not a massive wreck, at 13.4m, but it’s got enough character to make for an interesting dive. You can nose around the wheelhouse and deck, often finding blennies peeking out of crevices and spider crabs scuttling across the plates. For newer wreck divers, or those looking for a relatively shallow explore without going too far offshore, it's a decent pick, especially when the visibility plays along.
