TENACE - Cornwall & Devon
The Tenace, a yacht that met its end in 1967 after a collision, rests upright at 30 metres. It’s a good, solid dive for those who appreciate a smaller wreck with a bit of history. You'll find the structure largely intact, offering easy penetration into the cabin for suitably qualified divers, though do watch for silt. Over the years, the wreck has become a habitat for local critters – expect to see plenty of wrasse darting through the superstructure and conger eels peeking out from darker corners. It’s a rewarding dive, especially when the visibility is good, offering a peek into the maritime past of the English Channel.
