Thurlestone Beach is an easy entry shore dive, ideal for those just getting their fins wet in the UK. At a maximum depth of 8 metres, it’s a calm introduction to temperate waters, perfect for skill practice or a relaxed bimble. We often spot dogfish tucked under kelp fronds and plenty of spider crabs scuttling across the sandy patches. While you won't find dramatic drop-offs here, it’s a solid spot for a chilled-out dive, especially good for beginners finding their buoyancy or photographers experimenting with macro.
